An International Symposium entitled

Cybersecurity and New Technologies for Regulated and Innovative Economic Development – CNTRIED2022

14-15/10/2022

Presentation

Cybersecurity plays an important role in the field of information technology. Securing information has become one of the biggest challenges these days. Whenever we think about cybersecurity, the first thing that comes to our mind is cybercrimes which are increasing tremendously day by day. Various governments and companies are taking many measures to prevent these cybercrimes. Besides various measures, cybersecurity remains a very big concern for many.

Economic development is growing in importance and relevance in the age of an increasingly connected world in cyberspace. However, with the rise of the digital economy comes cyberthreats and cyber risks to countries in the form of malware, an escalation of organized cybercrime, personal information and data breach, and threat persistent advanced. Countries need to prepare for cyber threats from new frontiers, namely the Internet of Things, mobile and cloud technologies. The national cybersecurity strategy is an essential element as cybersecurity is necessary to protect and enable the digital economy.

Current laws are often ill-suited to address issues such as cyberstalking, sexting between minors, and posting threatening or harmful communications online. Throughout history, technological advancements have often preceded the introduction of new laws or the careful revision of existing laws. This pattern is evident in many more recent social issues that involve technology, including cyberbullying, online identity theft, and pornographic revenge. As specialists working at the intersection of human behavior and the law, forensic psychiatrists are uniquely positioned to help legal professionals and others understand the impact of problematic internet-related behavior on victims and, perhaps, to help develop new legal remedies that are better suited to our increasingly digital society.

This symposium seeks to clarify the link between cybersecurity, economic development and the law of new technologies on the basis of bringing together researchers in these three fields to succeed in achieving efficiency, performance, firm and flexible governance, security, end-to-end compliance and control, shared risk and cost reduction, mobilization of capacity, knowledge and innovation within public and private organizations.
